Hi There
My name is Leif Mortensen and I teach at Haeldagerschool in Vejle, Denmark. Here is a little about the region I live in. If you want some pictures then have a look at my homepage www.pillarsforum.org which is a resource site for teachers.
The Vejle Region spreads out from the Vejle fjord via the Grejs valley to Jelling and through the Vejle Ådal river valley to Egtved. The Vejle Region is a popular and very sought-after tourist destination. To find out why, you are welcome to visit our tourist information offices, where they can help you with lots of information, including details of the landscape, culture and history, the many sightseeing and leisure activities available, shopping opportunities, possibilities for overnight accommodation and places to dine, enjoy night-life, etc. Further information about the old Vejle you can find here http://www.vejlestadsarkiv.dk/dk/default1.asp?what=historie〈=en
Haeldagerskolen is Vejle’s largest school with app. 750 pupils and app. 75 teachers. It’s divided into 3 departments – 0. to 3rd class, 4th to 6th class and 7th to 9th class. An average class is 23 pupils. English is started in 3rd class. We try to have an international dimension and if you are interested in contacting the school you may use the following e-mail addresses:
lisho@vejle.dk school principal or me leif.mortensen@skolekom.dk
We are in contact with: www.os-petarbakula.co.ba in Bosnia
You can also visit my schools homepage at:
www.Haeldagerskolen.dk . It’s in Danish but give it a chance
My classes are 1 7th graders, 2 8th graders and 1 9th graders and some of them will turn up to the right. Let’s have a good contact in this way. I’ve asked my students to concentrate about X-mas when the introduction is over.

Hi Leif, it is great that you have started your blog. I have put your link up at http://jomcleay.com and some of the students are started to visit. I also had a look at Pillarsforum – thank you for making a site of resources for teachers
Hi Leif, I just found your blog through Jo McLeay’s blogroll.
I am a teacher in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I teach in a classroom of 13 students from grade 7-11. These are students who are on a modified curriculum. We began to blog in September and I am now looking for student bloggers around the world for them to connect with. Your group sounds great because it is also multi-level.
I will be encouraging my students to read your students blogs!
Tracy
